In September 2024, after traveling from our Jinan headquarters to the vibrant manufacturing hub of Guangzhou, the YIHAI Group delegation proudly participated in the highly anticipated Guangdong Machinery Exhibition.
This exhibition provided a phenomenal platform to showcase the precision non-metal processing capabilities of YIHAICNC. More importantly, it allowed us to meet face-to-face with long-term international partners whom we had previously only collaborated with online.

A Global Case Study: Solving Composite Material Processing for a Brazilian Client
The absolute highlight of our time in Guangzhou was an inspiring success story involving a dedicated client who traveled all the way from Brazil.
The client approached our booth with a highly specific technical challenge: his factory manufactured modern acoustic architectural panels, which consisted of a hard MDF board bonded with a soft layer of PET sound-absorbing felt. Initially, processing these panels with standard CNC router bits proved disastrous, as the high-speed bit would tear and fray the soft felt layer, ruining the product’s finish.
Instead of turning the client away, the YIHAICNC team took immediate action. Knowing that the neighboring city of Foshan is the capital of furniture manufacturing technology, we personally drove the client to a specialized CNC application and tooling testing center nearby.
Collaborating closely with local application engineers, we pivoted our strategy and tested a customized Hybrid CNC Router system equipped with both an ATC Spindle and a Tangential Oscillating Knife.
We programmed the oscillating knife to slice cleanly through the soft PET felt layer, while the high-frequency spindle routed the hard MDF board underneath. The results were flawless—clean edges with zero fraying. The client was absolutely thrilled and immediately cut sample pieces to take back to Brazil for final validation.
