In March 2024, the global manufacturing community turned its eyes to Jinan—the undisputed powerhouse of China’s CNC and laser manufacturing industries, and proudly, the headquarters of the YIHAI Group.
We were thrilled to participate in the 27th Jinan International Machinery Exhibition, taking full advantage of our “home turf” to showcase our most advanced manufacturing ecosystems to an international audience right in our own backyard.

Showcasing Dual-Core Strength on Home Ground
At our expansive booth, the YIHAI Group proudly displayed our latest domestic patented technologies. Our exhibition featured a comprehensive lineup, from the highly discussed marble-bed fiber laser cutters of YIHAI LASER to the ultra-precise, heavy-duty routing setups of YIHAICNC.
Throughout the three-day event, our engineers and sales directors were constantly engaged, hosting delegations from across the globe who came to Jinan specifically to source top-tier industrial machinery.
A Bespoke Solution: Beating Heavy Material Vibration
The immense value of exhibiting in our headquarters’ city was perfectly highlighted by an interaction with an Eastern European delegation specializing in custom solid wood and thick aluminum mold making.
Sitting down at our booth’s roundtable, the clients shared their primary frustration: their current lightweight CNC machines suffered from severe vibration (chatter) when routing thick, dense hardwoods and aluminum blocks. This resulted in poor edge quality, rapid tool wear, and frequent material waste. They needed a machine that could guarantee absolute stability under high-torque loads.
Because we were in Jinan, we didn’t just show them brochures—we showed them reality.
Within 30 minutes, we drove the delegation directly from the exhibition center to the YIHAICNC manufacturing facility. There, we set up a live demonstration on our Heavy-Duty 5-Axis CNC Router, featuring a thermally stress-relieved heavy cast-iron bed and a high-torque ATC spindle. We ran their exact CAD files on a thick block of industrial hardwood. The result? The heavy-duty bed absorbed all resonant frequencies, yielding a glass-smooth finish in a single pass with zero vibration.
Sealing the Deal and Future Prospects
Seeing the heavy-duty manufacturing process with their own eyes completely won the delegation over. They were not only impressed by the machine’s robust performance but also by the sheer scale and strict quality control of the YIHAI Group’s factory.
By the end of the exhibition, we had secured a substantial contract for multiple heavy-duty routing setups and established a massive database of high-potential clients, significantly elevating YIHAICNC’s reputation as a top-tier global supplier.
