Description
Our advanced 1325 4-axis router combines a 180° tilting spindle and an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC). This powerful combination allows for complex 3D contours and undercuts to be finished in one setup, making it ideal for intricate molds, sculptures, and high-detail prototypes without manual intervention.

Rudi Hartanto 🇮🇩 (Surabaya, Indonesia) –
Our Surabaya prop shop does a lot of themed restaurant and hotel decorations—faux rock walls, carved foam pillars, oversized food replicas for display. The 180-degree swivel head on this blue machine is the reason we bought it. We often need undercuts on faux rock formations, and with a standard 3-axis you simply can’t get the tool underneath. With the swivel head we tilt the spindle, reach in, and the undercut comes out clean in one setup. The ATC is a bigger deal than I expected. We use a 12mm flat end mill for roughing, then a 6mm ball nose for detail, then a 3mm tapered bit for fine edges. The machine swaps them automatically. I used to stand there with a wrench every twenty minutes. Now I just watch. One small thing: the vacuum table holds small parts well, but for narrow foam strips under 100mm wide, we add a few clamps just to be safe. Not a flaw, just something to know.

Rudi, that’s exactly the kind of real-world detail we like hearing. Faux rock undercuts are a classic swivel-head job—good to know the tilt angle is working for you. And you’re right about narrow strips: vacuum alone can struggle below a certain width, so combining vacuum with mechanical clamping is smart practice. If you ever want to share photos of your props, we’d love to see them. Thanks for the thorough review.

I don’t own this machine, but I spent half a day at a colleague’s workshop in Izmir watching his blue 180-degree machine run. He was cutting a large PU foam mold for a boat hull section. The swivel head was tilted maybe 40 degrees for the undercut along the keel line. What impressed me was the surface finish after the finishing pass—no visible stepover marks, and the ATC had already switched from a roughing bit to a ball nose without him touching anything. I asked him about maintenance. He said the swivel mechanism needs grease every few months, and the ATC carousel should be kept clean of foam dust. Nothing complicated. I’m now pricing one for my own shop. The 7kW spindle seems more than enough for PU foam.

Onur, thanks for stopping by and sharing what you saw. Your colleague’s maintenance notes are spot-on: the swivel head grease points and keeping the ATC carousel free of foam dust are the two things that matter most. The 7kW spindle is indeed sized for PU and even some denser modeling foams without bogging down. When you’re ready to price one, tell us the max mold dimensions you plan to cut and we’ll confirm the Z-axis height and table configuration before quoting.

Quick question about the ATC on this blue model. We use extra-long router bits for deep foam carving—some are 150mm cutting length. Can the ATC carousel hold bits that long, or is there a length limit? Also, does the vacuum table come with a separate vacuum pump, or do we need to source one locally?
Alex_Zhang –
Gustavo, the standard ATC carousel is designed for tool lengths up to about 120mm. For 150mm bits we’d need to quote a custom carousel with deeper holders—not a problem, just a modification. On the vacuum pump: yes, a 5.5kW vacuum pump is included with the machine when ordered with the vacuum table option. If you prefer to source a pump locally, we can quote the machine without it. Let us know your preference.
